This compass measures two and a half inches in
diameter and has an antique bronze finish.  The lid 
fits snugly on top to ward away water and other 
hazards one encounters at sea.

One very unique feature to this compass, is its 
gyroscopic mounting.  The compass swivels inside
the base, to combat the rolling waves, and give 
a clearer reading.

This functional compass is a replica of an instrument used 
during the heighth of seafaring times.
