Queen Victoria was very protective of her son Prince
Edward. In order to hide his hooch from his overbearing
mother, Prince Edward hired London's famous Bond St.
Haberdasher to fashion a walking stick with a hidden
liquor vial in the handle.
Over a hundred years later, we now have a beautifully
reproduced example of Prince Edwards Captain's Walking
Stick. The cane itself is three feet long, while the vial is
five inches long, capable of holding two ounces.
Also, inside the handle is a compass (to find your way home
of course, once the vial is empty). The compass face is
one and a fourth inches in diameter.
The walking stick unscrews into three parts and stores
nicely in a protective specially designed bag.
